Accelerate digitization of millions of records
With the goal of standardizing, synchronizing and digitizing the entire land database, the Hanoi Tax Department is entering the final stage of the "90-day and night" campaign. Despite facing a huge workload and many challenges, tax officials are still making efforts and dedication to "go to every alley, knock on every door" to complete this important task.
The campaign “90 days and nights to get rich, clean up the land database” is being urgently deployed nationwide, lasting from September 1 to November 30, 2025. This is a large-scale plan jointly implemented by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and is considered a key task of the entire tax sector. The goal of the campaign is an important step forward in standardizing and synchronizing land data, closely linking with the National Population Database and other systems.

From now until October 30, the task of cross-checking the list of land users with the national database is being accelerated. Information of millions of people will be verified and updated, requiring a huge amount of work.
The types of documents that need to be processed are very diverse, from land use tax, registration fees to revenues related to land transfer and lease. Each set of documents must go through a careful cross-reference process with data from relevant agencies such as land administration, land registration office, notary office... to ensure absolute consistency and accuracy.
All qualified records will then be digitized and entered into the electronic system, aiming to gradually reduce the use of paper records. This data will be interconnected with the national database and sectors such as tax, finance, and public administration, creating a transparent and effective information system. Every day, in addition to the regular workload, each tax officer also has to shoulder the additional task of reviewing and checking data and directly guiding people to declare and pay taxes online.
Promoting the spirit of dedicated and professional service
The urgent progress and limited human resources have increased the work intensity of tax officers many times. The image of tax officers often working until 9-10 pm at night, with almost no days off, has become familiar these days.
One of the biggest challenges they face is the gap in people's access to technology. While young people quickly get used to smartphone apps, many seniors are confused at the first steps of installation.
Therefore, each tax officer not only performs professional duties but also becomes a technological "bridge", patiently guiding each small operation, even "holding hands" to ensure that all citizens can fulfill their obligations.
Not only that, they also have to directly handle outstanding debt files, land violations and face tense exchanges. It is in these circumstances that the spirit of dedicated service and professionalism of each officer on the front line is even more clearly demonstrated. The efforts of the Capital Tax officers are making an important contribution to the success of digital transformation, for a modern public administration, convenient for the people and for the common benefit of the whole society.
