Visiting the model of sowing rice in trays and transplanting machines in hamlet 1, Van Diem village, Hung Long commune, Ninh Giang district, the Prime Minister kindly asked about the advantages of this new farming method of the people; he was happy to know that the people knew how to apply digital technology in production, contributing to restructuring agriculture , enhancing the application of science and technology, and improving the efficiency of agricultural production. The Prime Minister said that this model is a link between "4 houses" (State - enterprises - farmers - scientists).
Therefore, it is necessary to build a brand for rice, plan raw material areas, have support from input material suppliers, consume output products, have loan support from banks, have help from the science and technology sector, have preferential support from the province, have incentive policies to apply science and technology in production.

According to the Prime Minister, it is necessary to industrialize agriculture, form cooperatives to link and support farmers, and form a sharing economy; it is necessary to develop support policies, so communes must propose to districts and provinces forms of support; arrange suitable land for new farming models; in this process, it is necessary to always change the way of thinking and working, actively apply science and technology, invest in infrastructure development to reduce logistics costs.
District and commune authorities must actively support farmers; each level must proactively resolve the issue at that level with appropriate forms of support for farmers, applying public-private partnership, ensuring harmonious benefits and shared risks.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister experienced driving a rice transplanter in the fields of Hung Long commune; gave gifts, wished a happy new year, and encouraged farmers.

Next, visiting the carrot production area of Production Group No. 10, Duc Chinh Agricultural Service Cooperative in Duc Chinh commune, Cam Giang district, the Prime Minister harvested carrots with the people, learned about carrot cultivation, and income from the fields. The Prime Minister requested to increase clean, low-emission agricultural production; pointed out that to develop agricultural production, farmers must work with relevant ministries and branches to contribute to building agricultural product brands; authorities at all levels must plan raw material areas, ensure land efficiency; farmers must link up and establish enterprises and cooperatives; in agricultural production, there must be support from enterprises, actively apply science and technology; geographical indications, improve productivity and quality.
The Prime Minister noted that carrots are also a vegetable widely used in Halal food, so it is necessary to promote carrot exports to the Middle East market and Muslim countries; requested that local Party Committees and authorities support people to improve the quality of agricultural products, develop sustainable production, and support farmers to get rich on their own land.

The Prime Minister also visited the carrot processing facility of Duc Chinh Agricultural Service Cooperative; performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to export the first batch of carrots of the Year of the Dragon to Japan, Korea and Eastern Europe. The Prime Minister noted that Party committees at all levels, local authorities, and the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies need to join hands with businesses and people to support investment, build processing plants with modern technology and equipment, improve quality and diversify products, increase labor productivity, and enhance competitiveness to increase the value of exported agricultural products with a stronger and bolder spirit. The Prime Minister noted that it is necessary to proactively seek more large customers in the world to diversify supply chains and markets; strengthen green production, and apply digital transformation to agricultural production.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister gave Tet gifts and encouraged people and representatives of carrot exporting enterprises.
Previously, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh listened to the planning report of the Hai Duong Special Economic Zone with an area of 5,300 hectares in Binh Giang and Thanh Mien districts. Commenting on this Economic Zone, the Prime Minister suggested that Hai Duong province should re-study the planning in a large and systematic direction; make efforts to straighten the economic zone's traffic routes to connect with the most direct main traffic routes, limit going through residential areas and having to clear a lot of land; make efforts to create new development space.
