Dong Thap University announced the decision to recognize the principal.

On September 30, Dong Thap University held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Education and Training on recognizing the principal for the 2025-2030 term.

Awarding the decision to recognize the position of Rector of Dong Thap University, term 2025-2030 for Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong.

At the ceremony, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao, Director of the Department of Higher Education , authorized by the Minister of Education and Training, presented the decision on recognizing the Rector of Dong Thap University for the 2025-2030 term to Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong.

Speaking at the decision awarding ceremony, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao, Director of the Department of Higher Education, sent congratulations to Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong and Dong Thap University.

“Under the leadership of Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong, the school continues to promote its good traditions, constantly innovate and create to be worthy of the position and trust of the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training, local leaders and generations of teachers and students of Dong Thap University,” said Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tien Thao.

In his acceptance speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Ho Van Thong affirmed that the school will inherit and promote the tradition of more than 50 years of pedagogical training and more than 22 years of developing a multidisciplinary university model, continue to improve training quality, promote scientific research, expand international cooperation, and aim to become a prestigious training and research center in the region and the whole country.

Seven individuals of Dong Thap University were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.

With more than 50 years of tradition in teacher training and more than 22 years of developing a multidisciplinary university model, Dong Thap University continues to play the role of one of the 14 key teacher training institutions in the country, while also orienting itself towards developing into a center for training highly qualified, multidisciplinary human resources.

At the ceremony, 7 individuals of Dong Thap University were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister for their outstanding achievements in the period 2019-2020 to the 2023-2024 school year, contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.

In addition, the President of Dong Thap University awarded certificates of merit to 14 outstanding partners, 18 high school principals, 20 units in the school and 78 outstanding individuals.

Dong Thap University awards scholarships to students in difficult circumstances with good academic achievements.

On this occasion, the Dong Thap University Promotion of Education Association awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 2 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances with good academic achievements.
