Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company is a unit under Power Generation Corporation 2, currently managing and operating Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant, with a capacity of 220 kW. Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant is the last step on the Ba River basin and Suoi Trai commune (Son Hoa district, Phu Yen ) is the location of the plant.

Giving gifts to students of Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School

Suoi Trai is a highland commune, in a particularly difficult area of ​​the district. The majority of people living in the commune are ethnic minorities. Life is still difficult, so the journey to find "literacy" for children is difficult, and learning conditions are still lacking.

At the program, Power Generation Corporation 2 in collaboration with Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company presented 210 gifts to primary school students. Each gift included a backpack, a set of school supplies and 2 cartons of milk, worth 500,000 VND/gift, with a total gift value of 105 million VND. In addition, Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company also presented 55 cartons of fresh milk (worth 300,000 VND/carton) to 55 students of the school.

Mr. Vo Tra Dung, Chief of Office of Power Generation Corporation 2, said: "The program 'Following you to school' is organized by Power Generation Corporation 2 in coordination with 9 affiliated hydropower plants at 9 schools nationwide. Nearly 2,000 gifts worth about 900 million VND will be given to students in the localities with the hope of sharing some of the difficulties with students in mountainous areas, helping them have more motivation to excel in their studies and life.

The joy of students when receiving gifts

According to Mr. Vo Dinh Tho, Principal of Suoi Trai Primary and Secondary School, the school has 379 students, of which 277 are primary school students. "Most of the students here are poor, and their learning conditions are very limited. The gifts received are very meaningful, helping them have more conditions to continue their studies," said Mr. Tho.
