Comrade Tran Quoc Truong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Truong Yen Commune, said: Carrying out the tasks assigned by the People's Committee of Hoa Lu District in the Hoa Lu Festival program in 2024, Truong Yen Commune has actively deployed the work contents of the ceremonial and festival activities.

Ceremonial activities such as: Temple opening ceremony, water procession ceremony, offering ceremony, traditional sacrifice ceremony... are all assigned specific tasks by the commune to sectors, organizations, and schools.

The festival activities were practiced in villages, hamlets, and schools with the core being members of the association and union organizations. Along with that, from April 11, the commune organized a series of environmental sanitation campaigns, attracting a large number of cadres, members, union members and people to participate, ensuring that all main roads, village roads, and alleys in the area were cleaned, tidy, and neat before, during and after the festival.

The work of ensuring food safety (ATTP) has been promoted, inspected, and controlled, preventing violations of selling prices and food quality. With more than 300 restaurants providing food services and street food outlets, the Commune's Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety coordinated with the Provincial Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 and the Hoa Lu District Interdisciplinary Inspection Team to strengthen inspection of ensuring food safety at restaurants, food businesses, and accommodation service points before the festival.

This year, the festival organizing committee has arranged an area for local people to sell goods in Truong Yen commune, attracting 85 booths, mainly selling souvenirs, calligraphy, food and drink, etc. Households registering to sell goods at the festival are required to comply with regulations and have a certificate of qualified food safety facilities.

As the festival day approaches, organizations, unions, units, villages and hamlets in Truong Yen commune are excited and eager to prepare. Local people hope that with careful preparation in all aspects, they will contribute to the success of the Hoa Lu Festival 2024 and the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024), 1,056 years since Dinh Bo Linh ascended the throne (968-2024).

Along with Truong Yen commune, in the past time, departments, branches, units and localities have actively and proactively implemented assigned tasks according to the required progress and content. The propaganda work on the festival has been strengthened by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with departments, branches and localities, focusing on visual propaganda in the central area of the province and the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital National Special Relic Site. Strengthen propaganda and promotion on the 3-level radio system, on the electronic information pages of agencies and units, on the system of electronic boards and billboards of the locality. At the same time, encourage cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people to actively propagate on social networking applications about activities commemorating the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Dinh Tien Hoang Emperor (924-2024) and the Hoa Lu Festival in 2024.

In districts and cities in the province, the activities of practicing the festival's contents are actively implemented by the localities, with the desire to contribute to introducing and promoting the cultural beauty of each locality at the festival. At the same time, through that, it propagates and raises awareness among people about the significance of organizing festivals to preserve and promote the historical and cultural traditions of the nation.

To ensure festival safety, security and order, fire prevention, traffic safety, food safety, etc. are implemented synchronously and effectively by the sectors that are members of the Festival Organizing Committee.

Colonel Dinh Trong Soan, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, said: The Provincial Police presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Military Command and the Department of Transport to develop and deploy plans to ensure security and order, prevent and fight fires and explosions, and ensure traffic safety during the preparation, organization, and days of the festival, focusing on ensuring security and safety for the anniversary program and the opening ceremony. To serve the work of ensuring security and order at this year's festival, the Provincial Police have mobilized 800 officers and soldiers to perform duties. At the same time, two plans to ensure security and order in the opening ceremony area, fire prevention and fighting plans, rescue in the opening ceremony area and the fireworks display area; traffic diversion plans to prevent traffic congestion and plans to ensure safety for delegates attending the anniversary program and the opening ceremony.

Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hoa Lu Festival 2024, said: The activities commemorating the 1,100th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (924-2024) and the Hoa Lu Festival 2024 are activities of special significance to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of King Dinh Tien Hoang, honor the position and role of the Dai Co Viet State in the historical process of the nation, aiming to educate the tradition of patriotism, arousing national pride. To ensure that the commemorative activities and festivals take place solemnly, economically, safely, effectively, and imbued with the national cultural identity, the Organizing Committee of the festival has assigned specific tasks to the units that are members of the Organizing Committee. Up to now, the tasks have been deployed according to plan and schedule.

Each festival will be an opportunity to promote and spread the image and people of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, attracting domestic and international tourists. At the same time, the successful organization of Hoa Lu Festival as well as many other events, Ninh Binh province aims to soon become a center for organizing national and international events, creating added economic value while still preserving traditional cultural values.
