Pilot organization of training on knowledge and skills of safe motorbike driving for students

During 3 days (April 19-21), the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Transport, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), the Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, the Road Motor Vehicle Driving Training and Testing Center (Lao Cai College) to organize a program to foster legal knowledge and safe motorbike driving skills for high school students.

The pilot program was implemented with the right purpose and target, strictly complying with current legal regulations.

The subjects of the pilot are high school students, focusing on 10th and 11th graders; the pilot scope is at a number of high schools in Lao Cai city and the Road Motor Vehicle Driving Training and Testing Center (Lao Cai College).

The content of the pilot program closely follows the directives of superiors on strengthening traffic order and safety for students in the new situation; is suitable for the training subjects; fosters legal knowledge on road traffic order and safety; safe motorbike driving skills; tests theory, practice and issues certificates of participation in the training course.

Program time: afternoon of April 19, morning of April 20 and morning of April 21.

The program is organized to assess the current status of knowledge and safe driving skills of students, thereby proposing appropriate solutions and recommendations in developing regulations related to training, testing, and granting driving licenses (or certificates of training in knowledge and safe driving skills) for motorcycle drivers (including electric motorcycles).
