Ho Chi Minh City: Fire at parking lot in An Phu Dong, burned down 45-seat passenger bus

At around 11am on September 27, a large fire broke out at a parking lot on Nguyen Thi Nhuan Street, An Phu Dong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, causing panic among residents in the area.

According to many residents, before discovering the fire, they heard many loud explosions, then a column of black smoke rose dozens of meters high. The fire quickly engulfed the area inside the parking lot at 2366/1B Nguyen Thi Nhuan.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of Ho Chi Minh City Police and other supporting units quickly deployed forces and vehicles to the scene. Many specialized fire trucks were mobilized to approach and spray water to control the situation from many directions.

Firefighting efforts were hampered by the large flames, high temperatures, and the risk of fire spreading. Authorities had to block off a section of Nguyen Thi Nhuan Street to ensure safety and assist in firefighting efforts.

Initial reports indicate that a 45-seat passenger bus and many tires were burned. There are currently no official statistics on the number of vehicles damaged and the total property damage.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
