The delegation was led by Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, expressed his deep gratitude for the sentiments and sharing of the officials and people of Ho Chi Minh City with the people of Nghe An who suffered losses due to natural disasters. At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung also provided preliminary information about the losses caused by storms and floods and said that Nghe An is making efforts to overcome the consequences, focusing on repairing and rebuilding houses and supporting livelihoods to help people in the province stabilize their lives.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation also visited and encouraged people in Vinh Loc ward, an area that suffered heavy damage from the recent storm No. 5; and presented 60 million VND to support a family to repair their house that was severely damaged after the storm.
