Awarding ceremony of the Online Contest to Learn about the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Ninh Binh Province in 2023

On November 24, the Office of the National Target Program (NTPP) Coordination on New Rural Development (NRD) of Ninh Binh province organized the summary and award ceremony of the Online Contest "Learning about the NTP on New Rural Development in Ninh Binh province in 2023".

Attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Nho Quan and Yen Khanh districts.

The online contest "Learn about the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Ninh Binh Province in 2023" was organized by the Provincial Coordination Office of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Department of Information and Communications.

The contest received the attention and enthusiastic participation of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, people of all walks of life, students in the province.

Through 3 rounds of exams, each lasting 10 days, starting at 8:00 a.m. on October 1, 2023 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on October 30, 2023, the Organizing Committee recorded nearly 11,500 exam takers. In particular, some localities and units have a large number of exam takers such as: Kim Son, Yen Khanh, Nho Quan districts, Ninh Binh city; Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Police, Provincial Women's Union. Notably, out of the total number of exam takers, 6,844 people participated in the exam and answered all 10/10 questions correctly in all 3 rounds (accounting for 60%).

As a result, the Organizing Committee of the Contest awarded 11 collective prizes (1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 5 consolation prizes), of which the first prize belonged to Kim Son district; 30 individual prizes in 3 rounds of competition, each round included 10 prizes (1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes).

In recent years, propaganda activities on new rural construction have been carried out in a variety of forms and innovated according to the requirements of each stage, including oral propaganda through conferences, propaganda through mass media and visual propaganda (through billboards, posters, etc.). The online contest "Learn about the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Ninh Binh Province in 2023" is an innovation in propaganda forms, keeping up with the trend of digital transformation, applying information technology in propaganda activities to bring higher efficiency. Thereby contributing to raising awareness of all classes of people about the goals and tasks in the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, especially the contents of environmental protection, landscape improvement, improving the quality of life; roadmap and solutions for Ninh Binh to meet the standards of a new rural province by 2025.
