At 7:00 a.m. today, June 29, the upstream water level of Tuyen Quang Lake was at 107.26 m, the downstream water level was 52.32 m, the water flow to the lake was 1,732 m3/s, the total water flow to the downstream was 1,233 m3/s.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Official Dispatch No. 3790/CD-BNNMT to the Director of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company requesting to open the second bottom spillway gate at 12:00 and the third bottom spillway gate at 18:00 on June 29 to gradually bring the upstream water level back to 105.2m.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment requested Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company to continue closely monitoring the developments of floods, construction safety, flow to the reservoir, upstream and downstream water levels of the reservoir and promptly report to the Ministry through the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control.
Previously , the Minister of Agriculture and Environment ordered the Director of Tuyen Quang Hydropower Company to open a bottom spillway gate of Tuyen Quang Hydropower reservoir at 2:00 p.m. on June 27.
