China has pledged to strengthen security and counter-terrorism cooperation with Pakistan following a series of serious attacks in Balochistan province.

REUTERS. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a $820 million loan disbursement to Egypt under an expanded $8 billion loan program.
