On the morning of September 4, Van Phuc Secondary School, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year and the ceremony to hang the construction plaque to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital and receive the certificate of recognition of the school meeting national standards level 2.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Dang Thi Thao, principal of Van Phuc Secondary School, said that the school was extremely proud that at this year's opening ceremony, Van Phuc Secondary School was given a plaque to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and received a certificate of recognition as a school that met national standards at level 2.

According to Ms. Thao, this is not only a great honor but also a deep gratitude for the important contributions of previous generations in the liberation and construction of the capital.

This achievement is a testament to the connection between the glorious past and the developing present, while at the same time arousing patriotism and national pride in each student.

Ms. Thao said that last school year, Thanh Tri district invested in building a new school according to the national standard school model with 32 classrooms and 16 functional rooms, all equipped with modern and synchronous equipment.

In April 2024, the school was inspected and recognized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training as having achieved level 3 educational accreditation and level 2 national standards.

Based on the requirements and tasks of the capital's education sector in the 2024-2025 school year, with the theme of solidarity, discipline, innovation, creativity, and successful completion of tasks and goals of innovation to improve the quality and effectiveness of education and training, Ms. Thao said that in the new school year, teachers and students of Van Phuc Secondary School will promote the spirit of solidarity and strive to perform well the key contents and tasks of the sector.
