More and more young Vietnamese people are asserting their abilities in the global academic arena, winning full scholarships from master’s and doctoral programs at prestigious universities. Among them, Fulbright students stand out thanks to their solid knowledge base, critical thinking and independent research ability.

Hong Ha, a Bachelor of Applied Mathematics, has successfully won two PhD scholarships in Singapore: a full scholarship in Statistics and Data Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS - ranked 8th in the world) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. Although she had difficulty preparing her graduate application, with the companionship and dedicated advice of Fulbright lecturers, Ha was given more confidence to persevere and reap well-deserved success.

Nguyen Duy Hieu, a bachelor of Integrative Science and Psychology, identified his passion for research early on. Hieu proactively sought academic opportunities with the help of experienced Fulbright faculty.

Therefore, despite facing the "double" pressure - completing a graduate application in parallel with his graduation thesis, Duy Hieu passed and was excellently admitted to the doctoral program of 2 leading universities in the US with the major of Neuroscience at Stony Brook University and the major of Physiology and Neurobiology at Connecticut State University.

Fulbright University, a launching pad for students to reach out to the world

With an international standard training model and a team of highly qualified lecturers, Fulbright University Vietnam is a launching pad to help students confidently reach out to the world. Fulbright University trains students to develop comprehensive interdisciplinary, critical and creative thinking through a personalized learning path.

In the first two years, students are exposed to a foundational curriculum and exploratory courses from a variety of fields. In the final two years, students pursue a major and a minor or double major of their choice, developing depth of expertise while maintaining interdisciplinary connections.

In parallel, Fulbright University also expands opportunities for international experience through international student exchange programs with leading universities in the world such as Bard College and the University of California at Irvine in the US.

The Bard College exchange program allows Fulbright undergraduate students to spend a semester at international institutions such as New York and the Globalization & International Affairs Program, and in return, Bard students also experience a semester at Fulbright College.

Pham Gia Tuan - a double bachelor of Economics and Psychology, currently holds the position of Production Management Trainee at Uniqlo, and represented the school in an exchange semester at Bard College. This experience helped Tuan and his fellow students practice critical thinking, global adaptability, and expand international academic connections.

Meanwhile, in the exchange program at the University of California at Irvine (USA), students majoring in Engineering for Humanities participate in the “Engineering 3+2 Program”, receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees within five years of study, improving their academic ability and global thinking in the advanced educational environment of the US.

In addition, the international student exchange program with Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) allows students to study for a semester at SUTD, and in return, SUTD students also study at Fulbright University for a week.

In addition to high-quality study and exchange programs, Fulbright University has a team of world-class lecturers, of which 96% have doctorates from leading universities such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell (USA)... accompanying and advising students throughout each academic year.
