At the conference, officers of Vinh Hoi Dong Border Guard Station informed about basic contents about sovereignty over islands and borders, sophisticated tricks of hostile forces plotting to spread propaganda about sovereignty over islands and borders in cyberspace, ways for students to participate in the fight, and vigilance to avoid being exploited...
In addition, propagandists of Vinh Hoi Dong Border Guard Station disseminated the basic contents and scope of regulations in the Vietnam Border Guard Law approved by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (14th tenure) at the 10th Session on November 11, 2020.
The Law takes effect from January 1, 2022 and replaces the Border Guard Ordinance No. 02/1997/PL-UBTVQH9. The Border Guard Law consists of 6 chapters and 36 articles, fully, comprehensively and specifically stipulating policies, principles, tasks, activities, forces, guarantees and responsibilities of agencies, organizations and individuals regarding border protection.

Thereby helping teachers and students have a more general view of sovereignty over seas, islands and borders, and recognize the role of the young generation in joining hands to preserve and protect the sovereignty over seas, islands and sacred borders of the Fatherland.
In addition, teachers and students will grasp basic knowledge about Vietnam's sovereignty over seas, islands and borders, contributing to further raising awareness, loving and defining their roles and responsibilities in building and protecting the sacred sovereignty of the borders and islands of the Fatherland.
