Provincial People's Committee periodically receives citizens in March 2024

Today, March 25, the Provincial People's Committee organized a regular citizen reception in March 2024. Provincial Inspector Nguyen Tri Kien chaired the citizen reception session under the authorization of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman. Leaders of departments, branches, and sectors; leaders of districts, towns, and cities where citizens came to reflect and make recommendations also attended the reception.

There were 16 citizens who came to reflect and make recommendations related to 15 cases. The content of the recommendations was mainly related to land such as recommendations on granting land use right certificates, delaying the implementation of land inspection conclusions, resolving land disputes, compensation, supporting site clearance... Besides, there were some recommendations related to speeding up the construction progress of Truong Chinh Street, Dong Ha City; recommendations on resolving regimes and policies for meritorious people.

Among the recommendations, there are many first-time recommendations, some recommendations are under the processing period of competent authorities, and some recommendations have not been implemented by local authorities according to the direction of superiors.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Inspector Nguyen Tri Kien acknowledged the citizens' petitions and requested functional agencies and local authorities to report in detail the process of receiving and resolving petitions.

At the same time, assign competent agencies and local authorities to receive and handle first-time petitions according to their authority; continue to review and inspect the current status, handle petitions that are being resolved in accordance with the law and within the time limit; speed up the progress of resolving petitions according to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee.

For cases that are not under the jurisdiction of state administrative agencies, the Provincial Citizen Reception Committee is requested to guide citizens to contact competent agencies for resolution, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens according to the provisions of law.
