Thanh Thao said that after cutting the jackfruit and washing his hands, Duc Tien fell to the ground. His friends took him to the emergency room but he did not survive.

Thanh Thao added that she could not sleep all night because she could not believe Duc Tien's passing was real.

She said Mr. Duc Tien planned to organize a birthday party for his wife Binh Phuong on this show night.

Before he passed away, Duc Tien had intended to return home to celebrate the traditional New Year after 10 years abroad, but now it is just a plan.

Regarding the funeral, Duc Tien's relatives said that they cannot bring Duc Tien's body home immediately because the cause of death must be examined according to hospital regulations.

Duc Tien and his wife have lived in the US for about 10 years and have a 4-year-old daughter named Madison Nguyen.
