Viettel won 6 gold awards at the 2024 International Business Awards

Recently, Viettel won 14 awards at the International Business Awards 2024 (IBA 2024). Specifically, Viettel won 6 Gold awards, 5 Silver awards and 3 Bronze awards, bringing Viettel's total achievements at the IBA awards since 2016 to nearly 100 awards. Surpassing 3,600 applications from 63 countries and territories, Viettel's products are increasingly receiving high appreciation from the jury board of prestigious experts around the world from Google, IBM, Salesforce, Apple... Viettel 's 6 Gold awards cover many fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and business and management activities.

Viettel's AI products won two Gold awards with Virtual Assistant in the category of "Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Solutions" and Viettel eKYC in the category of "Identity and Access Security Solutions". Currently, Viettel's virtual assistant is being used effectively in ministries, branches, provincial/municipal governments and financial enterprises. Viettel's eKYC technology received the international ISO 30107-3 certificate for facial recognition (FaceID) level 2 - the highest level in the world, equivalent to the world's leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, SenseTime (China's largest AI company)...

In addition to technology products, Viettel was also honored with the Gold Award in the fields of logistics, communications, and marketing. Lumitel (Viettel Burundi) was honored as Company of the Year in the Telecommunications sector. After more than 10 years of business, Lumitel has now accounted for 64% of the mobile market share with more than 5 million customers, becoming one of the leading network operators in Burundi.
IBA 2024 gathered 3,600 applications from 63 countries and territories. The evaluation process was conducted from May to August 2024, based on the average scores of more than 300 experts worldwide. The award ceremony will take place in Türkiye on October 11.
