Coast Guard Region 2 closes the 2025 Good Ship, Boat, and Vehicle Competition

(NLDO) - The 2025 Good Boat, Canoe, and Vehicle Competition was a great success, with many outstanding achievements, and many individuals and groups were honored.

On the morning of July 28, after 4 days of exciting competition, the contest of good ships, boats, and vehicles of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command completed the program content, achieving the set goals and requirements.

During the organization of the contest, the participating officers and soldiers focused on overcoming difficulties, basically grasping the required content, the quality of the theoretical and practical tests was relatively even, ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles, weapons and equipment.

The competition objectively and practically evaluated all aspects of training, technical work, weapons and equipment management capabilities, equipment quality, technical weapons and equipment, and met the force use needs of the Regional Command.

The competition is an important opportunity for Party committees and commanders at all levels to strengthen leadership and direction, develop training plans, overcome limitations, and maximize and effectively exploit the features of existing technical equipment and weapons, especially new and modern technical equipment and weapons.

Colonel Le Huy, Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, presented awards to groups and individuals who won high prizes in the competition.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 9 groups that won the Good Ship award; 4 groups that won the Good Boat award; 6 groups that won the Good Vehicle award; 5 groups that won the All Ship award; 5 groups that won the Electromechanical specialty award and 33 individuals that won prizes in various specialties in the competition.

In his closing speech at the contest, Major General Tran Quang Tuan, Commander of Coast Guard Region 2, requested that in the coming time, agencies and units in the entire Region continue to lead, direct, and regularly do a good job of maintaining and periodically checking weapons and technical equipment systems on ships, boats, and vehicles to ensure that the equipment operates best and most effectively, contributing to the successful completion of assigned political tasks, building a strong and comprehensive Coast Guard Region 2 Command, "Exemplary and typical".
