Along with that, the unit promotes propaganda and education to raise legal awareness for people on the border to strictly comply with the provisions of the law, actively fight and denounce crimes, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area, bringing a peaceful life to people during the traditional New Year of the nation.

Major Nguyen Minh Quang, Captain of the Armed Team of the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station, said: Clearly identifying that ensuring absolute safety for people to enjoy Tet is an important task, so we increase patrols in the border area during Tet. We always clearly identify our tasks, overcome difficulties in weather and terrain of the patrol area to complete the assigned tasks well. To ensure security and order in the border area during the Giap Thin Lunar New Year, the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station has arranged a permanent force 24/24 hours, closely following the area to grasp the situation, promptly handle any developments arising right from the base and at the same time coordinate with functional forces to implement plans, patrol and control to maintain security and order in the villages and hamlets, on the other hand, to prevent and promptly detect signs of border markers, not allowing subjects to take advantage of the Lunar New Year to conduct activities against the Party and the State.
