Within the framework of the National Achievements Exhibition at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, the Ho Chi Minh Museum organizes the thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man."
With more than 300 documents and images, the exhibition introduces to visitors about President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, outstanding Vietnamese cultural figure. He devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, for independence, freedom, democracy, peace and social progress. He represents the character and mettle of the nation, the cultural identity of Vietnam and is a brilliant crystallization of morality, intelligence, spirit and conscience of the nation and the era.
The thematic exhibition consists of 5 parts: The man who seeks the shape of the country; The resistance will definitely win, the nation building will definitely succeed; The man who sits there with a red pencil, marking the path step by step, hour by hour; Ho Chi Minh - Symbol of friendship around the world ; Uncle Ho's will - The torch that lights the way.
In addition to documents and artifacts recreating President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary career, on display are many artifacts associated with his simple life: the brick he used for heating when living in France, the set of bowls he used every day, the set of tools he used for exercise...

Along with the thematic exhibition "Ho Chi Minh - Portrait of a man", Ho Chi Minh Museum is implementing the construction and exhibition of the Celebration Space to introduce the exhibition of national achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The highlight of the celebration center is the bust of President Ho Chi Minh. Behind is a red background, on the background are symbolic images such as historical and cultural relics, cultural heritage of the nation, images of the country, Vietnamese people... are connected one after another, showing the inheritance and development of culture through the historical periods of our nation.
The special highlight on the backdrop is President Ho Chi Minh's argument in the opening speech of the first National Cultural Conference on November 24, 1946: "Culture lights the way for the nation."
The thematic exhibition is held from August 28 to September 5./.
