118 officials of Phu Yen Department of Agriculture and Rural Development applied for early retirement

(NLDO) - Of the 242 officials in Phu Yen province who applied for early retirement and quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development alone had 118 people.

On February 12, the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province announced that up to now, 242 officials and employees have applied for retirement according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP. Of these, 212 officials and employees applied for early retirement and 30 people applied for resignation according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

Notably, among these, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) of Phu Yen province alone had 118 officials and employees requesting leave according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Tung, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Phu Yen, the department has reported on civil servants, public employees and workers applying for early retirement and quitting their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.

Accordingly, among the 118 officers and employees of this department who requested to resign, there were 81 civil servants, 35 public employees and 2 labor contracts. Most of them were forest rangers of the province. The total estimated budget for support for retirees and those who quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP was nearly 148.3 billion VND.
