
After 6 months of implementation, the organizing committee recorded 211 nominations from 46 colleges and universities nationwide (an increase of 20% compared to 2024). The projects span 16 fields: Artificial intelligence - automation, environment - sustainable development, technology for community society, education 4.0, healthcare...

According to the assessment, the projects all showed maturity in both ideas and practical implementation, had a clear development roadmap, linked to market demand, and had 9 R&D projects that could be commercialized. This year, many projects were in the fields of Fintech, personal financial management, games, and digital entertainment - fields that rarely appeared in previous seasons.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, Vinasa Founder Council, Chairman of the Jury, said that the projects are practical and have high commercial potential. He believes that if properly nurtured, many projects can come to life and create positive impacts for society.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chairman of NextTech Group, Head of the Organizing Committee, shared: “Each project not only has a technological idea, but also a desire to solve specific problems of the community. VietFuture Awards 2025 is a bridge to bring potential projects closer to businesses and the market, a launching pad to help students try their hand in a professional startup environment, learn from experts, connect with investors, to turn ideas into products, or real startups”.
The jury awarded prizes to 35 projects (7 First prizes, 7 Second prizes, 7 Third prizes and 14 Potential prizes), with a total value of nearly 273 million VND. In addition, excellent projects were supported by specialized consultants to demo products/projects, connect with investors, commercialize products, etc.

Some notable projects include: MediPath - a solution to support doctors and patients through digital assistants; smart shopping cart system - NAVIcart; TaskSpace - an academic project management application; AI tool to respond to digital content; Drones integrated with multi-spectral sensors and IoT - measuring and mapping saline soil in the Mekong Delta...
At the award ceremony, GITEX Vietnam selected 3 out of 7 First Prize winning projects to receive awards from strategic partners and attend GITEX Vietnam 2026, with many benefits such as: Creating a startup booth (Startup POD) at GITEX Vietnam 2026, participating in investor meetings, participating in business meetings upon request...

The VietFuture Awards was initiated in 2023 by Vinasa. After only three seasons, the award has become a connecting platform for students' innovative startup ideas to be realized. Not only a place to honor, VietFuture Awards also puts ideas into a three-party cooperation ecosystem: School - Enterprise - Investor, thereby contributing to bringing research from the classroom closer to practice.
