With more than 90 performances from 26 participating groups, the Northern Region Elderly Singing Festival recently held in Ha Tinh City has become a cultural exchange festival, leaving many impressions in the hearts of the audience.
What is special about the 2023 Northern Region Elderly Singing Festival is that most of the participating groups staged performances with regional identities, honoring the cultural heritage of their homeland. The art of Cheo is considered a "specialty" of the rice-growing people of the Northern Delta. Therefore, at this festival, many troupes have included Cheo in their performances, highlighting the cultural identity of the region.
