All anti-HAGL orders are lifted

FIFA's announcement, signed by the organization's Disciplinary Committee Head Americo Espallangas on January 13 (US time, FIFA's announcement was sent from Miami, USA) stated: "We confirm that we have received a letter from Martin Dzllah (plaintiff in the lawsuit against HAGL Club), a copy of which is available on FIFA's legal portal. We note that the plaintiff has signed a settlement agreement with HAGL Club (defendant).

After resolving the dispute with player Martin Dzilah, HAGL's transfer ban was lifted by FIFA.

Therefore, we announce that the current proceedings against HAGL Club have ended, and the ban on new player registrations against HAGL Club has been permanently lifted. At the national level, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) will also immediately lift the transfer ban against the defendant (HAGL)".

With this announcement from the head of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, HAGL Club can return to the transfer market. The dispute between the mountain town team and foreign player Martin Dzilah is considered to have ended.

HAGL receives good news

Previously, the two sides had a financial conflict. Martin Dzilah sued HAGL to FIFA, accusing HAGL of not paying the player after the two sides terminated the contract in March 2024. On HAGL's side, the mountain town team confirmed that they had paid Martin Dzilah via cash transfer, along with a receipt of payment (in English) from Martin Dzilah.

This dispute lasted for many months. During the time of receiving Martin Dzilah's complaint, FIFA issued a notice banning HAGL Club from transferring players, effective in both domestic and international tournaments. At the same time, FIFA required HAGL to compensate Martin Dzilah with the amount of 29,000 USD (more than 730 million VND).

It was not until January 11 that the two sides finally reached a settlement. Martin Dzilah himself wrote another petition to FIFA, requesting that FIFA withdraw the sanctions it had imposed on HAGL Club. On January 13, FIFA announced the lifting of the ban, as mentioned at the beginning of the article.
