Quick information from the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) said that by 7am on September 29, storm No. 10 (Bualoi) had caused widespread power outages, especially in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

Specifically, storm No. 10 affected the Corporation's 110kV power grid with 38 lines having to temporarily stop operating in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh, and 22 110kV transformer stations stopping operating in Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

With the medium voltage grid, more than 15,000 transformer stations had power interruptions, most in Nghe An (nearly 8,000 stations), Ha Tinh (more than 4,000 stations), Thanh Hoa (about 2,820 stations) and a small part in Ninh Binh .

For the medium voltage grid, priority is given to supplying electricity to critical loads such as the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee (restored at 7:00 a.m. on September 29), Dong Hoi airport, Dong Hoi water plant, and a number of essential production and residential areas...
