Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Nho Quan District Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival

On the evening of March 3, at Cuc Phuong commune, Nho Quan district, the closing ceremony of the 2024 Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival was held.

The 2024 Nho Quan District Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival took place over 3 days (March 1-3). Participating in the Festival, the teams set up camps, along with displaying typical cultural products of the units and localities. Competitions in Muong ethnic folk games such as playing mats, shooting crossbows, walking on stilts, tug of war, pushing sticks; traditional sports competitions: Men's volleyball, Women's volleyball... attracted a large number of visitors to watch and cheer.

In addition, the Cultural and Artistic Exchange Program was performed throughout the Festival. At the Mass Art Performance, 11 troupes brought vibrant art performances, with many rich and diverse genres, imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic minorities such as: Cheo singing, Chau Van singing, Gong singing, Dum singing, Lullaby singing... The performances left a deep impression on the hearts of audiences and tourists from all over.

In addition, the series of activities also successfully organized a rural market with many products that have been certified as OCOP products. The market has 34 booths displaying and selling products, including 14 booths of the Department of Industry and Trade; 20 booths with typical ethnic dishes, enjoyed and highly appreciated by many tourists such as: venison, goat meat, Ky Phu's sticky rice cake; Quang Lac sour sausage, Ky Phu; grilled meat, Cuc Phuong thang co; 15 booths selling typical local products that are of interest to tourists and bought in large quantities such as: Hoang Long sweet potato, taro of Yen Quang commune; Pumpkin, jackfruit of Phu Son commune cluster; guava of Dong Phong commune; Cordyceps mushroom of Thach Binh commune; Cau sticky rice of Ky Phu commune...

At the end of the activities of the Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival, the Organizing Committee selected and awarded 1 special prize, 1 first prize, 3 second prizes and 6 third prizes to the teams.

The festival is an opportunity for ethnic people in the district to exchange, learn, raise awareness and sense of responsibility in preserving, maintaining and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the ethnic groups; introduce the beauty of Nho Quan land and people to friends and domestic and international tourists. Coming to the festival, people and tourists from all over the world can also visit, experience and relax at eco- tourism spots in the buffer zone of Cuc Phuong National Park; enjoy dishes imbued with national identity, buy typical and typical products as gifts for relatives...
