Vu Quang District Military Command won first prize at the 2023 Good Car, Good Driver Contest organized by the Ha Tinh Provincial Military Command.
During 2 days (May 17-18), the Provincial Military Command organized the 2023 Good Car, Good Driver Contest. Participating in the contest were 18 contestants who were car drivers of military agencies of 13 districts, towns, cities and units under the Provincial Military Command with 14 vehicles. |
Leaders of the Technical Department of Military Region 4 and the Head of the Provincial Military Command inspected the vehicles participating in the competition.
Entering the contest, the contestants performed the following contents: multiple choice test with a set of 30 questions on the Road Traffic Law; practical test for driving a class C transport vehicle; using a KAMAZ vehicle on a parking lot... Especially in the good vehicle test, the jury checked the technical condition of the vehicle when it was moving; checked the working condition of the systems while the vehicle was running, moving according to the terrain and the book registration procedure...

It is noteworthy that, in the good driving practice section, although the units were not yet equipped with KAMAZ vehicles, the drivers were highly focused and applied their experiences during the performance of their duties to flexibly handle situations in the competition.
In this competition, 75% of the participating cars met the standards of good cars; 100% of the drivers had solid skills, proficient driving movements and rules, were confident, and had good driving techniques, of which 17/18 contestants were awarded certificates of excellence.
The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the units.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Military Command of Vu Quang district; two second prizes to the Military Command of Ha Tinh city and the Military Command of Huong Son district; and three third prizes to the Military Commands of Nghi Xuan, Cam Xuyen districts and Ky Anh town.
The organizers awarded certificates to good driving contestants at the contest.
Regarding the best individual drivers, the first prize was awarded to comrade Nguyen Luong Trung - driver of the Logistics Department's Transport Platoon; 2 second prizes went to comrade Tran Quoc Truong - driver of the Vu Quang District Military Command, comrade Nguyen Viet Giap - driver of the Ha Tinh City Military Command; 3 third prizes went to comrades: Le Khanh Tung - driver of the Logistics Department's Transport Platoon, Nguyen Duc Nhat - driver of the Cam Xuyen District Military Command, Tran Thanh Tan - driver of the Can Loc District Military Command.
The organizing committee awarded certificates of merit to groups with vehicles that met good vehicle standards.
Regarding good vehicles, the first prize went to the vehicle of Nghi Xuan District Military Command; two second prizes went to vehicles of Huong Son District Military Command and Vu Quang District Military Command; three third prizes were awarded to vehicles of Ky Anh District Military Command, Hong Linh Town Military Command and Cam Xuyen District Military Command.
