Associations at all levels give gifts to "godchildren" before the new school year

On the occasion of the new school year 2024-2025, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union directed all levels of the Union to organize activities to visit and encourage orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances throughout the province.

Accordingly, 2,198 orphans and children in difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa province were visited and given gifts by the Women's Union at all levels with a total amount of over 1.4 billion VND. This is an annual gift-giving activity within the program "Godmothers support the raising and care of orphans" and the program "Millions of gifts to share love" deployed and implemented by the Provincial Women's Union.

The gifts given at the beginning of the new school year have an important meaning for orphans and children in difficult circumstances, showing the concern of the Association at all levels for those who still have difficult and disadvantaged lives, helping them have more determination to try hard in their studies and life. It is expected that on the opening day, 462 mothers will register to bring their godchildren to the opening ceremony of the new school year.

Godmothers of the Women's Union of Nga Son district visited and gave gifts to orphans and children in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the new school year.

The Women's Union of Trieu Son district organized a meeting with 35 orphans to give gifts on the occasion of the new school year 2024-2025.

On this occasion, the association's branches across the province organized many cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities... creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024). The leader of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union said: 100% of the association's organizations undertake to carry out projects and tasks related to environmental sanitation, beautifying the roads to be bright, green, clean and beautiful to celebrate National Day; organize the giving of warm homes to members in especially difficult circumstances; promote the implementation of the project "from collecting scrap to millions of gifts" to create a source of gifts for children of members in difficult circumstances, orphans preparing for the new school year...

The above activities aim to make a mark in the association's activities and women's movement, contributing to building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; "Building Thanh Hoa women of the new era who are patriotic, self-reliant, self-reliant, and have the desire to rise up".
