Foreign experts evaluate Quy Nhon University's training program

On the morning of October 22, Quy Nhon University (Binh Dinh) coordinated with the ASEAN University Network for Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) to organize the opening ceremony of the 411th AUN-QA external assessment of training programs for two undergraduate training programs in economics and business administration. The AUN-QA assessment team included experts from universities in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia.

According to the plan, from October 22 to 24, the AUN-QA expert team will comprehensively inspect professional activities at Quy Nhon University, including: Studying documents, self-assessment reports and evidence; surveying the actual situation and evaluating all conditions of facilities, services, means of supporting training, scientific research and school activities; interviewing stakeholders of the evaluated training program such as: leaders of faculties, departments, lecturers, students, service staff, alumni and employers.

The AUN-QA training program assessment standards version 4.0 has 8 standards, including: Expected learning outcomes, structure and content of training programs, teaching and learning methods, assessment of learners' learning outcomes, teaching staff, learner support services, infrastructure and equipment and achieved outputs.

The external assessment activity according to AUUN-QA standards has special significance for Quy Nhon University, because this is the first time the school has carried out external assessment of university training programs according to AUN-QA standards version 4.0, the latest set of standards of the AUN-QA organization.

By 2024, Quy Nhon University will have 18 training programs that meet the educational quality accreditation standards of the Ministry of Education and Training... In addition, Quy Nhon University is ranked 17th in the 2024 ranking of 100 Vietnamese universities announced by VietNam University Rankings (VNUR).
