According to information from Lieutenant Colonel Vu Van Luong, Head of Tran Island Border Guard Station, the unit urgently sent 2 working groups with 16 officers and soldiers to Tran village to support the people. The officers and soldiers helped tie 5 aquaculture cages; at the same time, called and guided 16 vehicles with 37 fishermen to safe shelters.
At Thanh Lan Border Guard Station, the unit has closely coordinated with the Police and the Co To Special Zone Working Group to propagate and mobilize fishermen. On September 21 and 22, 2025, Thanh Lan Border Guard Station mobilized 2 high-speed boats and 10 officers and soldiers to coordinate and call 191 ships, boats, and rafts to safe storm shelters. Currently, the Working Group is continuing to propagate and mobilize the remaining 14 vehicles to ensure all boats are safe from the storm.
Coastal localities, especially Co To, Van Don, Hai Ha, Mong Cai... are urgently calling for and guiding ships to safe shelters. The province has also directed port management units, wharves, tourist areas, and aquaculture facilities at sea to urgently implement preventive measures and evacuate people and property to safe places.
Propaganda and warning work has also been stepped up on mass media so that people can clearly understand the storm's developments and proactively take preventive measures. Functional forces, including Border Guard, Police, Army... are put on high alert, preparing human resources and means to rescue and evacuate people when necessary.
