Senior political theory students will learn about cryptography.

The Government Cipher Committee and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics recently signed a memorandum of understanding to make "State management of cryptographic work" an official subject taught at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Accordingly, students studying advanced political theory will learn about cryptography and have their awareness of protecting national secrets raised.

According to Major General Vu Ngoc Thiem, Head of the Government Cipher Committee, recently the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics has included the cryptography curriculum in its training program.

With this signing, the content of "State management of cryptographic work" has become an official subject taught for advanced political theory courses. The subject will also be taught to other training and fostering subjects in the system of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Mr. Thiem also expressed his hope that the topic "State management of cryptographic work" will help cadres participating in advanced political theory courses to grasp and understand better the contents of state management of cryptography; raise awareness of the importance of protecting state secrets and the role of cryptographic forces; contribute actively to protecting national security, and enhance the sense of responsibility in complying with the law on cryptography.

At the same time, in the position held by each officer, they will pay attention and coordinate to create favorable conditions for the cryptographic force to perform well the assigned tasks, contributing to improving the State's management capacity in cryptography.

The Government Cipher Committee will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in organizing and deploying cryptographic products and solutions to ensure information security and safety to serve the leadership, direction, administration, and handling of the academy's work in a confidential, safe, accurate, and timely manner in the coming time.
