Need to quickly repair Huong Can inter-commune road

The inter-commune road from Huong Can to Tan Minh is about 5km long, starting from National Highway 70b in Huong Can commune, ending at Don intersection in Tan Minh commune, Thanh Son district, completed in 2015. This is the only road to Da Can area, helping 24 Dao ethnic households in Da Can area, Huong Can commune and people in Tan Minh commune to conveniently travel to study and trade goods.

The road was badly damaged, making it difficult for local people to travel.

However, in 2022, due to the impact of heavy rain lasting for many days, the section from Cong Gay to the end of Da Can area, Huong Can commune was damaged for about 2km, causing difficulties for the daily life of local households.

People in Da Can area mainly live by forestry and raising small-scale livestock and poultry. Currently, during the raw material exploitation season, people are facing difficulties in transportation. If the road had not been damaged before, the transportation fee for each 10-12 ton truck trip would have been 600-700 thousand VND. Now that the road is damaged, people have to spend more money to hire a leveling machine to level the road surface so that trucks can come in to pick up goods. Head of Da Can area Trieu Thi Chuyen said: "Around mid-2023, a contractor came in to repair it for about 3 months and then stopped until today."

The degraded road is about 2km long.

The new school year has come, the people's wish is that the local government continue to repair the road so that 20 students in Da Can area including: 4 preschool students, 8 primary school students, 5 secondary school students, 3 high school students can go to school conveniently, while avoiding unnecessary risks and dangers to people's travel.
