Twins study the same major, graduate with honors, receive many scholarships

Twins Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Nguyen Dieu Anh (22 years old), from Hung Yen province, both graduated with honors in corporate accounting from the Academy of Finance ( Hanoi ) in August 2024.

Ngoc Anh was honored as the valedictorian of the major with an average GPA of 3.92/4.0, while Dieu Anh won the title of Outstanding Student of the entire course with a GPA of 3.86/4.0 and ranked 3rd in the August 2024 graduation of the Faculty of Accounting.

Parents are a solid support for the two sisters during their years of study.

"I am very happy and proud to have achieved results after 4 years of studying and training. I am grateful to the teachers who taught and supported us when we were in the lecture hall. I thank my family for always being a source of motivation and a strong spiritual support to help us overcome all difficulties throughout our student life," Ngoc Anh confided. Sharing about choosing to study business accounting together at the Academy of Finance, Dieu Anh said that since their high school years, the two sisters were members of the math team, competed in math competitions in English... and won many awards. Therefore, math and numbers have always been a favorite of the two sisters. After completing the high school graduation exam in 2020, Ngoc Anh and Dieu Anh registered for the business accounting major at the Academy of Finance. Right from the beginning of university, the two sisters set a goal of trying to graduate with an excellent degree. "To get good scores, we always try to go to school regularly and interact with lecturers during the learning process in class. Before each exam, Ngoc Anh and I review our lessons together. For specialized subjects, we often solve sample questions and compare answers with each other and correct our mistakes," Dieu Anh shared. Ngoc Anh said that the two sisters study the same major so it is easy to help each other in studying. In addition, when there are competitions, programs, and movements at school, the two sisters also encourage each other to register to participate. For example, participating in specialized competitions of the faculty, writing scientific research topics, articles in magazines, yearbooks or participating in the "5 Good Students" movement. Achievements in the university journey are an important stepping stone to help the twins confidently face challenges in the future, creating motivation to pursue higher goals in work and life.

During her four years at university, Ngoc Anh has achieved a number of achievements such as: Excellent student of the entire course 2020 - 2024; Excellent student in scientific research of the entire course 2020 - 2024; 2 consecutive years of achieving the title of "5 Good Student" at the city level; 2 scientific research projects ranked excellent at the Academy level. High achievements in studying and participating in extracurricular activities have helped Ngoc Anh be honored to join the Party. Dieu Anh has achieved a number of achievements such as: Student with excellent achievements in scientific research of the entire course; title of "5 Good Student" at the city level. Both Dieu Anh and Ngoc Anh have received 7 character encouragement scholarships from the Academy of Finance. Ngoc Anh has also received scholarships from Vietcombank and Lien Viet Postbank for 2 consecutive years of study. "Thanks to this money, my parents have less burden in paying tuition fees, and at the same time we can study and take the English certificate exam," Dieu Anh shared. To balance between studying and participating in extracurricular activities, the two sisters set goals at each time to see which one they will prioritize. At the beginning of the school year, Ngoc Anh and Dieu Anh prioritized participating in extracurricular activities because that was the time when they did not have much studying. The two sisters often chose together which activities to participate in to gain more experience and develop themselves in the best way. Although their university journey has ended, the two sisters still have many ambitions with academic dreams. In the near future, Ngoc Anh and Dieu Anh will register for a master's degree at the Academy of Finance. In addition, both of them will continue to study for specialized certificates, foreign languages ​​and soft skills to serve their future work. "Our parents have worked hard because they had to take care of and raise us at the same time since we were young. That's why we always think that we will try to study well to find a stable job and help our parents more," Dieu Anh shared.
