High-altitude fireworks display in Bac Lieu and Ca Mau to celebrate the province's merger

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has allowed the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to organize high-altitude fireworks displays in Bac Lieu city and Ca Mau city to celebrate the province's merger.

On June 23, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism responded to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province about organizing high-altitude fireworks displays in the province.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism agreed with the proposal of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to organize high-altitude fireworks display at the television art program to celebrate the unification of Ca Mau province.

The number of firings is 120 artillery batteries at each firing point, the firing duration is no more than 15 minutes at 9:00 p.m. on June 30 at two locations: Hung Vuong Square (Bac Lieu city, Bac Lieu province) and Ward 5 park, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province.

Previously, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province sent a document asking for the opinion of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on organizing the above fireworks display. The purpose is to spread excitement before the political event of special significance to the locality. Regarding the source of funding, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province said it will use social mobilization sources.

In 2025, Ca Mau province will also organize a fireworks display to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 2025) in Tran Van Thoi district, and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 2025) in Ca Mau city.

In addition, on the evening of April 24, at the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail National Special Relic Site (Rach Goc town, Ngoc Hien district), a low-altitude fireworks display was also held to celebrate the event of receiving the certificate of ranking as a special national relic - Vam Lung wharf.
