On August 22, Hong Duc University ( Thanh Hoa province) announced the admission scores for the first round of university training programs in 2025. In particular, the Pedagogy major continues to have an "shocking" admission score with extremely high scores, almost reaching the maximum score.

The leading score in the entrance exam to Hong Duc University is still the same as previous years, with the highest admission score being Literature Education at 28.38 points; followed by Geography Education at 28.20 points, and History Education at 28.13 points.

There are 14/40 majors with admission scores of 22 points or higher; 6 majors have admission scores of 18 points. The remaining majors have admission scores of 16-17.5 points.

It is worth mentioning that from 2018 to now, the average admission score for the Pedagogy major (group C) of Hong Duc University has been extremely high. In 2021, there was even a candidate admitted to the Pedagogy major with a score of 30.5 points (no subject has a coefficient of 2, including priority points).

It is known that in 2025, Hong Duc University plans to enroll 2,690 full-time university students. One major with admission scores of 18 points is Law. The remaining majors have admission scores of 15 - 16.5 points.

The reason why the entrance score for the Pedagogy major at Hong Duc University in recent years has been sky-high is because the Pedagogy major enrolls students according to the annual quota allocation from the Ministry of Education and Training, based on the training capacity and the need to order teacher recruitment from localities. Many majors only recruit 10-40 quotas, and majors with high quotas in the Pedagogy block also only have around 200 quotas. Therefore, the entrance quota is very competitive.

In addition, the reason why the number of Pedagogy majors entering Hong Duc University in recent years has been sky-high is that when candidates pass the entrance exam, they will be supported with living expenses and tuition fees according to Decree 116/2020 implemented in the past 4 years (currently amended and supplemented in Decree 60/2025), with a support level of 3.63 million VND/month for living expenses during their time studying at the school.
