Volunteer program "Loving Lao Cai"

The program was organized with many meaningful and practical activities, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and sharing difficulties with the people in the highlands.

From August 17-18, 2025, the Youth Union of the Offline Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), the Youth Union of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Youth Union of the Department of Innovation (Ministry of Science and Technology) coordinated with the Bat Xat Commune Police to organize the program "Loving Lao Cai Volunteer Journey", giving the highland people of Bat Xat, Trinh Tuong, and A Mu Sung communes many gifts, with a total value of 220 million VND.

Volunteer group gives gifts to grassroots security forces and households in difficult circumstances in Bat Xat commune.

Specifically, in Bat Xat commune, the volunteer group presented 10 gifts to 10 comrades working in grassroots security; 30 gifts to households in difficult circumstances; presented books to Phin Ngan Primary School; presented gifts to the Bat Xat Commune Police force; visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the family of comrade Bui Van Duc (former police officer of Tong Sanh Commune, former Bat Xat District, who died while on duty). The total value of the gifts was nearly 50 million VND.

In Trinh Tuong commune, the volunteer group presented a house of gratitude to Ly A Gio's family in especially difficult circumstances in Na Lac village, worth nearly 150 million VND; presented 10 gifts to 10 households in difficult circumstances; presented gifts to a police officer of Trinh Tuong commune who is facing difficulties (total value of gifts over 10 million VND).

In A Mu Sung commune, the volunteer group visited and supported Thao A Phong, born in 2019 in Bien Hoa village. Currently, Phong is in a particularly difficult situation, suffering from cerebral palsy, losing consciousness, unable to walk, and his family cannot afford treatment.

The program "Lovely Lao Cai Volunteer Journey" is a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Tradition Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
