A mixed martial arts match between a human and a humanoid robot was held as part of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference 2025, held in Shanghai, China.

A female visitor to the exhibition entered the ring to compete with Unitree Technology’s G1 humanoid robot. This robot is 1.32m tall, weighs 35kg and is equipped with many joints to help it move flexibly.

The video shows that the robot has good balance, throwing punches and kicks like a professional boxer. However, the robot's ability to recognize targets when attacking is still limited.
