Police rescue 3-year-old girl who almost fell from 4th floor balcony of school

(Dan Tri) - A 3-year-old child in Dak Nong followed his parents to school, and was later found lying precariously on a rain gutter in the 4th floor hallway. Luckily, the child was rescued in time.

On the afternoon of December 6, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Nong province announced a rare incident at the Center for Continuing Education - Foreign Languages ​​- Information Technology of the province. A girl about 3 years old fell off the railing of the 4th floor but was fortunately rescued by police officers in time.

According to initial information, on the same morning, the girl followed her parents to the center to watch an English speaking contest for elementary school students, which took place on the 2nd floor. Afterwards, she left her parents and moved to the 4th floor.

Major Tran Dinh Tin, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Team of Dak Mil District Police, heard crying from the upper floor and rushed up to check. On the fourth floor, he discovered the girl had crawled through a hole in the railing, lying precariously on a 5m long, 45cm wide concrete rain shield. The girl was screaming, scared and in danger of falling at any moment.

Faced with the urgent situation, Major Tin coordinated with Lieutenant Colonel Phan Le Tien, Captain of the Dak Mil District Police General Team, to rescue.

They both called on people below to find a way to cover the baby, spread blankets and plastic tarps in case the baby fell. At the same time, they climbed over the railing, quickly approached, carried the baby to a safe area, and handed him over to his parents.

The incident left many witnesses worried and heartbroken for the safety of the little girl. At the same time, they expressed their admiration for the police officers who were quick and rescued the girl safely.
