Announcing key leadership positions of 68 new communes and wards in Dak Lak

On June 20, Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee held a conference to deploy a plan to pilot the operation of newly established commune-level administrative units.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hai, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, announced the key leadership positions in 68 communes and wards after the arrangement, including Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, Chairman of the People's Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level. At the same time, the decision to establish working groups to guide, monitor the trial operation and direct the organization of the Party Congress at the commune level for the 2025 - 2030 term was announced.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thoroughly grasped the contents related to the responsibilities and tasks of the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level in the new model. Along with that, representatives of the Party building committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office also disseminated topics related to the activities of the Party Committee, government and Fatherland Front at the commune level after the reorganization.

According to the plan of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, after completing the arrangement, the new communes and wards will simultaneously conduct a trial operation simulating the organizational and operational mechanism of the official government. The goal is to comprehensively assess the capacity of the staff in the new apparatus to handle real-life situations, promptly detect difficulties and have plans to adjust and overcome them before officially going into operation.

The ceremony to announce the establishment and hand over decisions on personnel for leadership of commune-level administrative units will take place on the morning of June 30.
