(PLVN) - On March 3, 2025, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Construction held a conference to announce the Decisions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Minister of Construction on organization and personnel work.

The Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction announced the Decision to establish 18 new Party Committees and Party Cells; the Decision to establish agencies and staff to assist the Party Committee of the Ministry (Office of the Party Committee, Party Committee Organization Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry); the Decision to appoint leaders of agencies and staff to assist the Party Committee of the Ministry.

At the same time, the Ministry of Construction announced the Minister's decisions on regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of organizations under the Ministry; the Minister's decisions on appointing leadership positions of heads and deputy heads for 146 officials of agencies and units under the Ministry.

The Ministry of Construction held a conference to announce the Decisions of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction and the Minister of Construction on organization and personnel work.

Previously, on February 19, 2025, the Government Party Committee issued Decision No. 25-QD/DU on the establishment of the Ministry of Construction Party Committee, including 58 affiliated party organizations with more than 12,000 party members. The Ministry of Construction Party Committee is directly under the Government Party Committee, established on the basis of reorganizing the Ministry of Construction Party Committee and the Ministry of Transport Party Committee.

The Government Party Committee also issued Decision No. 27-QD/DU on the appointment of members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2020-2025 term.

Specifically, 37 comrades were appointed to join the Party Executive Committee of the Ministry of Construction. 13 comrades were appointed to join the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction. 5 comrades were appointed to join the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction. 3 comrades were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction.

Minister Tran Hong Minh was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the 2020-2025 term.

According to Decree No. 33/2025/ND-CP dated February 25, 2025 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry has 23 organizations, of which 19 organizations assist the Minister in performing state management functions and 4 organizations are public service units serving the state management functions of the Ministry.

Immediately after the Conference, the Ministry of Construction will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's policies and regulations, the State's laws and the Ministry's leadership and direction on streamlining the apparatus, operating effectively, efficiently and effectively in each organization.
