Admission scores to Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have dropped sharply.

(Dan Tri) - Of the 12 specialized classes of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, only 3 specialized classes have increased their admission scores compared to 2024.

The highest admission score to Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted in 2025 is 42.75 - specialized chemistry class. This is also one of the three specialized classes with an increased admission score compared to 2024, an increase of 2.8 points.

The same group of benchmark scores increased is Literature and English, with increases of 1.75 and 0.4 points respectively.

The remaining 9 specialized classes saw a sharp drop in scores. The sharpest drop was in Chinese, from 40.5 points in 2024 to 37.15 points in 2025. Next was math, from 42.25 points in 2024 to 39 points in 2025. IT also dropped 3 points, from 41 points to 38 points.

The decrease in benchmark scores also occurred at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted.

9/11 specialized classes of this school have decreased scores. Math specialized class has decreased the most, from 39 to 36. History specialized class has decreased from 36 to 33.25.

The two specialized classes that increased their scores were chemistry and literature. Of which, the chemistry specialized class increased by 3.6 points, from 34.65 to 38.25.

Son Tay High School for the Gifted has 6/9 specialized classes with reduced scores. The biggest reduction is in physics with 5 points, from 31 to 26. Specialized classes with more than 2 points reduction are English, geography and history.

The three specialized classes that increased their benchmark scores in this school are chemistry, biology, and literature. The specialized chemistry class increased by 3.55 points, from 27.95 to 31.5.

Chu Van High School for the Gifted has the reverse ratio. The school has 4 specialized classes with reduced scores and 6 specialized classes with increased scores.

The strongest increase is still in specialization with 4.25 points, from 35.75 to 40.

The four classes with reduced scores are math, computer science, physics and English, with a reduction of 0.35 to 1.5 points.

In the non-specialized high school sector, the benchmark scores also decreased significantly. 92/115 schools decreased their scores compared to 2024. 2 schools decreased by more than 8 points, 15 schools decreased by more than 3 points. Only 11 schools increased their benchmark scores.
