On November 16, sources said that the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health issued a decision to administratively sanction and suspend the operations of two unlicensed dental clinics in Pleiku City.
Specifically, the two dental clinics that have just been fined for violating the law are Kim Lux Saigon International Dental Clinic - 09C Nguyen Tat Thanh and Yan Dental Clinic - 60 Pham Van Dong, both in Hoa Lu Ward, Pleiku City.
Accordingly, both of these facilities violated the law by providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license as prescribed.
According to the penalty decision, each facility must pay a fine of 45 million VND and have its operations suspended for 18 months.
Recently, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health has inspected and examined private medical facilities and discovered a number of units, especially clinics, violating the law on medical examination and treatment.
Therefore, the leaders of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee have requested the Department of Health to coordinate with sectors and localities to strengthen inspection and examination of private medical and pharmaceutical practices, and strictly handle violations.
Focus on thoroughly handling unlicensed medical and pharmaceutical establishments, and disguised spa and beauty service establishments.
Penalize violations at the highest level, combined with additional penalties such as: revoking the practice certificate of medical practitioners, revoking the operating license, and revoking the business registration certificate of the owner of the facility that violates the regulations.
