Up to now, the Than River reservoir project has completed the construction of the earth dam, the reservoir channel; the operation management road, the reservoir flood avoidance road, the deep discharge culvert combined with diversion, the water intake culvert and is currently constructing items such as: concrete dam without spillway, free spillway, spillway with gate; the package of the generator house, the dam surface lighting system, and the cylinder system cannot be constructed yet because the concrete dam part of Cuong Thinh Thi Construction Investment Corporation has not been completed.
Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the road project connecting Tan Son town to Ta Nang crossroads.
Regarding the road project connecting Tan Son town to Ta Nang intersection, the section from Tan Son town to Ma Noi commune has been completed, accepted and put into use. The section from Ma Noi commune to Ta Nang intersection has basically completed the bridge, drainage, road surface, and asphalt pavement items; currently there are about 12,568 km of unfinished forest product collection work, so construction cannot be organized yet.

Speaking at the inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of the Than River reservoir project; the province has allocated sufficient capital in the past, but the construction progress is still slow. He requested the investor to urgently develop a reasonable and effective construction plan, especially the contractor Cuong Thinh Thi must mobilize maximum human resources to complete the concrete and bridge girder construction, making up for the previously delayed volume, striving to complete the entire project by the end of this year. For the road project connecting Tan Son town to Ta Nang intersection, he requested the investor and Ninh Son Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. to focus on coordinating to speed up the process of exploiting and harvesting forest products; review and arrange vacant land as a point for transporting forest products, a place to gather machinery, equipment and materials. Implement specific and detailed construction plans for each section with available land to serve as a basis for accelerating the disbursement of allocated capital.
