Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of essential infrastructure works in Vinh Hai commune.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected 4 projects including: Construction of new breakwater and flood protection embankment in Thai An village; construction of 3 new connecting roads in the production area; upgrading the old provincial road 702; upgrading Bau Tro pond and building a water supply system from Ho Quat stream to Bau Tro pond.

According to the report of Ninh Hai district, the above projects are from the central budget allocated according to Resolution 115/NQ-CP of the Government , with a budget of 175 billion VND; all projects have received high consensus from the people, many construction items are being accelerated, the district strives to complete the entire project in 2024 and disburse 100% of the construction value.

After inspecting the actual projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Investing in essential infrastructure works in Vinh Hai commune is extremely necessary to overcome difficulties, stabilize production, and gradually improve the lives of people in the area previously planned for a nuclear power plant. He acknowledged the efforts of the local government as well as the construction progress of the investor in implementing the projects; at the same time, suggested further accelerating the construction process to promote the disbursement of all allocated capital.

Ninh Hai district continues to propagate and mobilize a number of households to urgently hand over the site for the project of building 3 new connecting roads in the production area; focus on reviewing and balancing the addition of lighting system items along the embankments to ensure suitability within the total capital allocated; develop an effective management and operation plan after investment.
