On September 22, Mr. Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, inspected the actual progress of site clearance and construction of two key traffic projects in Tran Bien and Tam Hiep wards.

These are the two projects of Bien Hoa city’s central road and Cai riverside road. These two projects have long been expected to shorten travel time between wards in the central area of Dong Nai province.

Reporting to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the representative of the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) said that the site clearance work for the Bien Hoa city central axis road project was basically completed, with only some households and connecting sections to Dang Van Tron Street remaining.

At the Cai River Road Project, the contractor was awarded the contract to build 5 bridges on the route. However, there are still problems with the land clearance for the approach roads of Tan Mai, Rach Gio, and Ba Bot bridges, leading to delays in the project's construction.

Explaining the above delay, representatives of the People's Committees of Tran Bien and Tam Hiep wards and the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Nai province said that the site clearance work for the projects is facing problems in the resettlement review process.

Some plots of land are related to Go Me Cooperative so we have to wait for instructions on handling.

The localities also recommended that the People's Committee of Dong Nai province dispatch more specialized staff to support and speed up site clearance for the above two projects.

Mr. Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, assessed that both projects have been under construction for a long time but progress is still slow. Therefore, relevant units must focus maximum time and human resources to urgently complete the site clearance work.

Tran Bien and Tam Hiep wards must assign a leader to monitor the entire project, especially the appraisal and approval of compensation and support plans.

While waiting for approval of compensation and support plans, the Party Committees of the wards must establish mobilization teams, mobilize households, and organize early handover of the site for the contractor to start construction.

Regarding the proposal to add more human resources to support the site clearance work of the two wards, Mr. Ho Van Ha acknowledged and will provide maximum human resources support to the localities to organize the construction of these two projects.

The project will connect to the planned administrative and urban areas of Dong Nai.

The Bien Hoa city central axis road project has a total length of more than 5.4km, divided into 2 branches: Branch 1 has the starting point intersecting with Vo Thi Sau street, the end point intersecting with Dang Van Tron street at An Hao bridge intersection, more than 3.7km long.

Branch 2 starts at the roundabout intersecting with Branch 1 at Hiep Hoa Islet, and ends at Dang Van Tron Street at the intersection of Buu Hoa Bridge, more than 1.7km long. In particular, Thong Nhat Bridge is the most important part of this project with a scale of 6-10 lanes.

This project will connect traffic closer to the new administrative center of Dong Nai province and planned urban areas.

The Cai River Road Project alone has a total length of nearly 4.6km, connecting Ha Huy Giap Street to Tran Quoc Toan Street. The cross-section of the route is 32m. The Cai River Road Project will also invest in building 5 new bridges on the route.
