The DT753 upgrading and expansion project has a total length of 13km, passing through Tan Thien and Tan Xuan wards, Dong Xoai city and Tan Hung and Tan Phuoc communes, Dong Phu district. According to the approved documents: From Km0+000 to Km2+160 passing through Dong Xoai city, the investment is according to the planned cross-section with a road width of 30m, of which the road surface width is 17m, the curb + sidewalk width is 6m, the unreinforced shoulder width is 7m; the section from Km2+160 to Km9+000 has a total roadbed width of 25m, of which the road surface width is 19m; the section from Km9+000 to Km13+000 has a roadbed width of 22m, of which the road surface width is 19m. After the road surface is widened, more than 2,000 plots of land of more than 1,500 households will be affected.

Construction package 01 passing through Tan Thien ward, Tan Xuan, Dong Xoai city has basically received consensus from the people to hand over the site for the project.

Thanks to the good work of propaganda and mobilization about the purpose and meaning of the project, the majority of people living on both sides of the road have basically agreed with the State's policy of upgrading and expanding the road. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung in Phuoc Binh quarter, Tan Xuan ward said: "I and the people here have agreed to hand over the land so that the State can build the road quickly. "The people here are very happy and excited when the road is upgraded and expanded. People are ready to hand over the land so that the State can build the road" - Ms. Tran Thi Hoai in Phuoc Tan quarter, Tan Thien ward said.

Tan Thien ward leaders discussed the purpose and significance of upgrading and expanding DT753 road and hoped for the consensus of the people so that the project could be implemented on schedule.

In Tan Thien ward, there are about 200 households affected by the upgrading and expansion of DT753. The ward People's Committee has been coordinating with the Dong Xoai City Land Fund Development Center to conduct measurements. Once the measurements are completed, compensation procedures will be carried out immediately to hand over the site to the construction unit as soon as possible. "Basically, the people have agreed with the policy of upgrading and expanding DT753. The people are committed to handing over the site as soon as possible to implement the project" - Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Vice Chairman of Tan Thien Ward People's Committee said.

Quickly remove difficulties and obstacles

In order to complete the project and put it into use soon, all 4 packages on the entire route have been simultaneously deployed to speed up the progress. Mr. Phan Van Cu, Commander of Construction Package 01, Thanh Liem Company Limited said: Construction Package 01 has a total length of 4km and 2 Suoi Rat bridges. Recently, the contractor mobilized 30 motorbikes to organize the construction of 2 road sections. For the bridge area, the unit mobilized more than 100 workers divided into many construction teams with 3 continuous shifts, working through the night to complete the boring of the bridge piers to meet the schedule.

According to the project investor's report, the biggest difficulty is the technical infrastructure works, especially the medium and low voltage power lines. The entire route currently has 140 medium voltage poles and 277 low voltage poles that need to be relocated, but so far the functional units have not relocated them to hand over the site to the project investor. Mr. Tran Ngoc Tai, an officer of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, said: Previously, the licensed technical infrastructure works on both sides of the route were forced to be relocated when the investment was expanded. However, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board has repeatedly made recommendations to the functional units, but so far they have not been relocated, causing difficulties for the simultaneous implementation of the project. According to the plan, the project to upgrade and expand DT753 will be completed and put into use in June 2025. Therefore, the difficulties and obstacles of the project need to be resolved soon by the functional agencies to complete the project on schedule.

The investment in upgrading and expanding DT753 aims to gradually complete the traffic system according to the general planning and traffic network planning of the province. When the construction of Ma Da bridge is approved, DT753 will be an inter-regional traffic route, creating a convenient traffic axis connecting the Central Highlands provinces through Binh Phuoc to Long Thanh International Airport and Cai Mep - Thi Vai port. DT753 is planned as National Highway 13C, so when invested in and expanded, it will facilitate the upgrading to National Highway 13C in the future.
