The J-35A is a variant of the J-35, a stealth aircraft that China is developing for use on aircraft carriers. There is currently little information about the performance or capabilities of the J-35A, although it looks similar to the F-35 of the US defense corporation Lockheed Martin, according to Reuters.

Other highlights at the exhibition include drones and drone ships, as well as flying cars and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition attracted nearly 590,000 spectators. In addition, about 4,500 reporters from more than 400 media organizations covered the event, according to Xinhua.
