At retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted for individual rice products. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND30,000/kg; Jasmine rice is VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND20,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates around VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is VND20,000 - 21,000/kg; Huong jasmine rice is VND20,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; common white rice is VND17,000/kg; regular Soc rice is VND18,500/kg; Thai Soc rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

Regarding rice, it is noted that in localities, supply is low, farmers offer high prices, and demand is quite high.

In Can Tho, the demand for rice is quite high, farmers offer slightly increased prices. In Kien Giang, farmers offer increased prices, traders offer regular purchases, and transactions are quite good. In Long An, rice transactions are relatively high, farmers offer slightly increased prices. In Soc Trang , prices of all types of rice are stable, and demand is stable.

Specifically, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, today's rice prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday, IR 50404 prices fluctuate around 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is at 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is at 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is at 7,650 - 7,800 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuates from 6,800 - 7,100 VND/kg; Nhat rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is at 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg, and Nang Nhen rice (dry) is at 20,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the glutinous rice market recorded no adjustment compared to yesterday. IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) 7,500 - 7,800 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Long An glutinous rice (fresh) 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg. An Giang glutinous rice (fresh) 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg, unchanged compared to yesterday.

Regarding rice, the price of rice recorded an adjustment compared to yesterday. Specifically, IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice was kept at 11,550 - 11,650 VND/kg, an increase of 100 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice was kept at 13,600 - 13,700 VND/kg, an increase of 50 - 100 VND/kg.

By-products today recorded an adjustment compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice remains at 9,400 - 9,500 VND/kg, an increase of 100 - 200 VND/kg; the price of dry bran remains stable at 7,250 - 7,350 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices recorded an adjustment compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was at 435 USD/ton; 5% broken standard rice remained at 562 USD/ton; 25% broken rice was at 525 USD/ton.
