Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 18 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 6,400 - 6,650 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice (fresh) decreased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 5,700 - 5,800 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 6,500 - 6,700 VND/kg; OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,200 - 5,400 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuated at 5,500 - 5,600 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuated at 6,300 - 6,500 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the supply is quite good, the buying and selling is slow. In Long An , the demand is slow, the price tends to decrease, traders mainly buy cut rice. In Kien Giang, there is a lot of ripe rice, rice transactions are quite good, rice prices are stable. In Hau Giang, rice in Long My is being harvested quite well, the quality of rice is good, the price is stable.

In An Giang, there is a lot of rice, the price of fragrant rice in some fields that traders buy has decreased slightly, buying and selling transactions are slow. In Can Tho, there is little rice left, most of which have been deposited. In Soc Trang , some areas have opened new fields, new buying and selling transactions are slow, traders pay low prices.

Similar to rice, according to an update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently OM 380 raw rice has decreased by 150 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,750 - 7,850 VND/kg; IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 8,150 - 8,200 VND/kg; 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of by-products fluctuate from 7,300 - 10,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant broken rice fluctuates at 7,100 - 7,300 VND/kg; broken rice fluctuates at 6,800 - 6,900 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 8,000 - 10,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity of rice arrived evenly, the price of all types of rice was relatively stable. In An Giang, the quantity was quite good, warehouses bought slowly, prices fluctuated little. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), there was quantity at the wharfs, warehouses bought moderately, prices fluctuated little. In Sa Dec (Dong Thap), the quantity was sporadic, raw rice prices were stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), rice arriving at the docks is in better quantity, market warehouses buy rice regularly, prices of all types are stable. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), quantity is steady, prices are stable, good rice is easy to sell, warehouses buy slower.

At retail markets, the prices of rice of all kinds are the same as yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; regular rice fluctuates at 15,000 - 16,000 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at 18,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice at 22,000 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; common white rice at 17,000 VND/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at 18,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice is 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice is 22,000 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today remained unchanged from yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 392 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 365 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 307 USD/ton.
