With the motto “green house is better than ripe field”, farmers in the commune have brought machines into the fields, prioritizing the thorough harvesting of rice areas that are 80% or more ripe. The commune’s agricultural extension team recommends that farmers harvest, transport and preserve the rice to avoid stagnation in the fields.

By the end of September 24, the whole commune had harvested about 46% of the area, concentrated in the areas of Chue Luu, Xuan Ang, Lam Loi, and Quan Khe (old). Along with the harvest, people also urgently cleaned the fields, treated straw residue, drained water and prepared the land, preparing to sow winter crops as soon as the weather was suitable.
